Developing Speed, Strength, and Agility in Athletes

Our speed and agility training is all about enhancing physical performance, no matter what sport your athlete plays. We focus on developing three core pillars of athleticism: speed, agility, and strength. These are essential skills for any athlete looking to excel—whether they’re on the soccer field, basketball court, or track.

Requires explosive speed, stamina, and strength. You’ll build all that and more with conditioning routines—no general workouts here.

Core Elements of Our Speed and Agility Training​

Our speed and agility training incorporates biomechanical analysis, focusing on stride length, foot positioning, and reaction time. Plyometrics, sprint mechanics, and lateral movement drills are customized to each athlete’s sport to ensure maximal performance. Here are the key components we focus on:

Sprint Mechanics​

Our coaches emphasize proper running form and sprinting techniques to help athletes maximize their speed. This includes refining stride length, arm movement, and foot positioning. Improving sprint mechanics doesn’t just make athletes faster—it also reduces the risk of injury.

Agility Drills​

Agility is vital in nearly every sport. Our training uses drills like ladder work, cone drills, and shuttle runs to develop quick footwork, fast reaction times, and exceptional body control, helping athletes move effortlessly around obstacles.

Plyometrics​

Plyometric exercises are all about building explosive power. We use jumping, bounding, and dynamic lateral movement in patterns to improve an athlete’s ability to generate force quickly—leading to better sprint speed and agility on the field or court.

SKILL-BASED ATHLETIC TRAINING

At Elevate Performance Sports, we recognize that athletes of different skill levels have different needs. That’s why we divide our programs into specific training protocols, ensuring each athlete gets the right level of instruction and intensity for their developmental stage:

Private Training

Experience the highest level of detailed coaching from trainers dedicated to your athlete’s growth, no matter their current skill level. Learn, refine, and master skills one-on-one with your coach for maximum results.

Small Group Training

Experience world-class quality coaching at a lower cost per athlete by training in a small group. Get the same focused feedback and skill-building, while sharing the session with a few peers in order to develop alongside your teammates or friends.

Speed & Agility Camps

Train four hours each week (Monday–Thursday) for a fraction of the cost. Open to all youth, competitive, and elite athletes, these camps deliver targeted drills and expert guidance in a fun, group setting that keeps you moving forward.
